Warm Blankets Orphan Care is building 9 church orphan homes in Kenya. We have already rescued and are now caring for over 350 kids. Their stories bring us to tears; some have seen their parents murdered. Others ran for their lives from their war-ravaged village and never turned back. Along with our partners we are restoring shattered childhoods and giving these children hope and a future. |  |

10 million Kenyans, 65% of them children, are starving. Violence surrounding the election last spring rocked the country during planting season. In some areas it has not rained for two years. Food prices have increased 33% in the past year. The government recently declared the famine a national disaster and made an international appeal for food aid. |

We are responding and God is providing. 1.3 million meals and a quarter of a million vegetable seeds for gardens that will provide sustainable nutrition have been given to Warm Blankets Orphan Care! We need to get this food to the orphans in Kenya! |
